1. Run for Rhys is an event for men, women and children. Children must be aged 8 or over on the day of the event.

  2. There will be two race distances at every one of the 20 Run for Rhys venues: 1,500m and the 5k. Everyone can enter the 1,500m but only people aged 16 or over on the day of the event can enter the 5k.

  3. You can enter online or by entry form. You must be 18 or over to enter online using a credit card.

  4. Entrant’s places are non-transferable.

  5. Run for Rhys Ltd. accept no responsibility for cancellation or relocation of the event due to any unforeseen circumstances. No refunds will be made.

  6. In order to guarantee your entry, please enter as early as possible prior to the event. In some cases, it might be possible to enter on the day but this depends on the capacity levels and popularity of each venue. Run for Rhys cannot guarantee your entry will be accepted if you arrive wanting to enter on the day. Please check your local Run for Rhys page for latest information.

  7. Start times for each Run for Rhys event might well vary due to the constraints of each venue. Please check your local Run for Rhys page on the web site for up to date information.

  8. Activities around the runs themselves will differ depending on venue. Please check your local Run for Rhys page on the web site for what else is happening at your venue.

  9. By taking part, all participants confirm that they are happy for their names and any footage or photographs taken during their participation in Run for Rhys events to be used to publicise future Run for Rhys events and for local authority/ Sport England marketing purposes.

  10. All participants must clearly write their name and details of any health problems or medication on the reverse of the race number, which must be worn on the front of t-shirts during the race.

  11. In the case of an emergency, Run for Rhys Ltd may need to use the details provided by you to contact your home or office.

  12. Participants must be physically able (without causing personal bodily harm) to complete the Run for Rhys. Any participant who is unsure of their health & fitness or their ability to take part in the Run for Rhys should consult a doctor prior to taking part. Please remember the Run for Rhys is not a race, it's about taking part and having fun at your own pace.

  13. No pets, roller skates/blades, skate boards, scooters, bicycles or another wheeled vehicles other than buggies, pushchairs and wheelchair users (on selected courses only – please check local Run for Rhys page for accessibility), will be allowed on the course. We kindly request that buggy and pram pushers start at the back of the field. Spectators are asked to keep pets on a lead.

  14. We strongly advise that all participants and volunteers under the age of 18 are accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. We can take no responsibility for minors on race day.

  15. Run for Rhys Ltd. have made every effort to ensure the event will pass off safely, but all participants enter and run entirely at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety and for those of their group of Runners. Any participants (whether runners or not) who take part in the additional sporting activities also do so entirely at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety. Run for Rhys Ltd shall not be liable for any injury or loss that might occur as a result of their participation other than as a result of the negligence of Run for Rhys Ltd.

  16. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law (but not otherwise), Run for Rhys Ltd. assume no responsibility and are not liable for the non-availability, failed, loss, late receipt, interception or damage of any notification or other communication, transmission, network or system

  17. Runners must comply with all terms and conditions and regulations of the local Run for Rhys venue.
